Baby Nursery Decoration—Choosing the Theme for Your Little Baby Boy
Baby nursery decoration can be a tricky task when there are so many different themes to choose from. You want to pick a nursery decoration that will suit both you and your baby for at least the first year of their lives, when you will be doing all the picking, choosing, and thinking for them. But don’t fret. There are a lot of resources out there that can help make your decision much easier.
First, if you’re having a boy, you can pick any number of nursery options for your son by first determining your colors and then finding a theme that fits those shades. For example, the classic deep red and denim blue are the perfect colors for a cowboy-themed room. After you paint your walls the selected colors, you can accent your chosen cowboy bedding with a cowboy wall clock or a mural. Or, how about a cute horse rocking chair tucked into the corner that the baby can utilize when he is a little older?
There is also the option of using transportation-themed nursery décor that can fill the walls of your baby boy’s nursery. An awesome race car time piece or a speedy train clock or mural can really add pizazz and interest to any baby nursery. The colors can be lively and bold with bright reds, greens, and blues, and even a checkered flag here and there for the race cars.
A lively jungle theme is also another option. Fun giraffes and silly monkeys can bring a smile to any baby or adult’s face. The bright greens, deep browns, and sunny yellows can always catch a baby’s attention. As for nursery furniture, red and orange-striped foam chairs are a fun way to add color and interest to the baby’s room, and they will be functional room décor when the baby gets to be a bit older.
