Since the passing of Michael Jackson, more folk are considering dressing up as the King of Pop for parties and Halloween. If you’re considering a Michael Jackson costume and need to be sure that you do it properly, there are some necessary pieces that you can’t miss that were an element of his trademark style across the years. From the glove to the red jacket and everything between, there’s such a lot to a Michael Jackson costume that you have got to get perfect. Here are many pieces that you simply can’t do without:

Piece one : The Glove - Who doesn’t remember the glove that he was wearing around all of the time in the 80’s? That single white sequin glove made waves all around the planet and had folks dressing up and wearing one glove also. For those considering any decade of Michael Jackson costume, the eighty’s Michael has to have his single white glove.

Piece two : The Hat - While this one lasted many decades, that black fedora was always on his head across the 90’s and almost all of the new millennium. If you’re considering going as this decade of Michael’s life, then you would like to ensure that you pick up a straightforward black fedora to finish your Michael Jackson costume.

Piece three : The Red Jacket - Again, from the classic eighty’s Michael look, that red jacket with all of the gold chains and zips that everybody had to have. With this jacket, you are right away in a Michael Jackson costume and you just need two more things to round it out. Although this jacket dropped out of favor in the early 90’s, with his expiration there was a renewed interest and you should be in a position to pick one up online to finish your costume.

No 80’s or 90’s Michael Jackson costume is complete without this jacket.

Piece six : Black Leather Shoes - Michael was renowned for the moonwalk and his dance moves, so no Michael Jackson costume would be ideal without those black leather shoes with the square toes. Almost each video that he did, he was wearing these same kind of shoes in and you can’t miss those trademark moves in them.

Whichever decade you are considering for your Michael Jackson costume, there are just those few pieces that will all or nothing your decision. Ensure that you gather up everything you want for your costume so you do not finish up in 2nd place.
