You can find many rc models on the internet to be purchased for birthdays, Christmas or just went you wish to buy your children or grandchildren a treat. Many people refer to RC Toys as remote control cars, remote control helicoptes but the growing trend is now to refer to them as RC Cars, RC Helicopters and so forth

RC Helicopters are one of the most successful toys at Christmas with the mini and micro RC Helicopters selling out from most retailers. These very small helicopters are excellent fun for children of all ages right up to adults. Depending on your budget depends on the functionality of the helicopter as the lowest price models just go back and forward, up and down. As these run on electric, they require to be charged up for a short period of time before being flown. Usually made of very light materials such as a combination of foam and plastic, the low weight makes them excellent for indoors. Outdoors they can easily be blown all over the place by eve the slightest breeze.

You can now use a more robust built RC Helicopter, some of which require a licience to be held to control these aircraft. Each RC Helicopter comes with a series of channels which control the helicopter, the more channels the more control you have over the helicopter. These models can cost towards £100 or over with the highest spec models requiring you to have a licence to fly them in a public area where other people, children and animals could be present as well as other dangers such as powerlines.

Adding to this, remote control cars are another area of RC Toys with many of us experiencing a RC Car at some point in our childhood or even adulthood. These range from cheap RC Cars which run on electric and ideal for small children which can run round the front room and house. Large cars like a remote controlled truck are superb for running outdoors with increased strength and grip.

At the top end of the RC Car range are Petrol and Nitro cars with Nitro cars usually found to be used by teenagers upwards, sometimes introduced to them by their dads as a Birthday or Christmas present.

Nitro Cars are a variety of model cars that require nitro fuel to run which you can usually only buy from model shops on or offline. These high spec cars require maintenance, repair and to be run in so a range where knowledge and experience comes in very useful.

When it comes to presents for children, the electric range of rc helicopters are superb but also the huge range of nitro rc cars that can be found online are ideal for many ages giving hours or fun indoors and out. It can be very hard for any adult to resist to have a little fun with any new remote control toy which has been given as a present.
