Mounts on World of Warcraft

 Powered by Max Banner Ads

Embracing the greater levels in World of Warcraft means several atypical stuff for those players who have spent the valuable time and dedication to succeed. One of the most acclaimed and instantly taken leverage of conditions you accomplish at a particular instance is a mount. Boasting quite a few varyingclassification of mounts in WoW – each event is granted an assortment of choices to pick from. Humans are mostly given horses while Orcs could choose from their loved wolf steed. However, by developing the riding capability and pursuing, a contender is likely to attain entrance to many competing mount choices.

Several fans see mounts as a symbol of their competence in the game. Even though, they too meet the requirement of moving you from point A to point B much easier than usual. Predominantly, that is the only aim of the mount as you are not permitted to bombard when mounted. Similarly, beasts are not permitted to harm the mount; all damage is given to the gamer mounted. If you cease during the time mounted, your mount merely unsummons and waits for you to resurrect and resummon them.

When mounted, you are granted an array of fresh emotes to employ as well and some mounts are fairly amended with time. For each individual race, mounts change in looks a little, whether its fur color or entire build. There are even exclusive chase down affiliated to mounts, particularly for Paladins. With the release of the Burning Crusade expansion, the possibility to attain a Flying Mount at stage 70 was furnished in Outland. Click on the link: wow leveling guide to find more information.

To get your mount, you will have to first reach stage 40. When you make it, you can then gain the ability “apprentice riding” and go ahead traveling around half as quick as you might if you are walking. When you catch up skill level 60 on the other hand, you will be able to learn “journeyman riding” and hook up a mount that is twice as fast as walking.

Teen Board Games

Many teenagers are not into their board games because they think that they are simply for kids, on the other hand this is really not true, all you have to do is look into all of the toys reviews on the net to see that these board games are for teenagers as well as many other age groups.

Monopoly

This is actually the most played board game in the world! Believe it or not over 485 million people have actually played monopoly which is pretty amazing, this has to be because of the general appeal it has. You can get a Monopoly board based on anything from Lord Of The Rings, and Football to Spongebob Squarepants.

Some of the newest versions of this classic board game have actually taken out all of the cash and put cards into it to make it easier, I have to say it certainly speeds things up.

Would You Rather

Although you would you rather game it often classed as a spoken game rather than anything else it is also true to say that the board game is very good also. It does add more fun to the game though. Is something like this ever going to replace the favourites like spin the bottle.

Bonus

Twilight Board Game

This board game is the ultimate fan favourite featuring stills from the movies and loads of questions from both the books and the films. This is for the real fans, you will need to have seen the movies and read the books. Twilight is rubbish anyway but I had to put it in because there are so many fans!

So check out those gadget reviews and travel reviews today!

Make sure that you always look into reviews on the thing you are lookingto buy before you go out and get it.

Goozex Review: I No Longer Buy Games

Where do gamers go?

The choices you have as a gamer are:

  1. Buy (Online, Ebay, used, Gamestop..)
  2. Rent (Gamefly, blockbuster…)
  3. Trade (Goozex, Switchplanet..)

Renting in the past at your brick and mortar rental place can easily set you back more then $5-$7 every week like Blockbuster. There have been other online rental game sites that charge a monthly fee like /month for one game out like Gamefly. Renting isn’t all together bad but playing videogames isn’t like watching movies. There is a considerable larger amount of time invested in videogames then in movies. Most movies range from 1.5 hours to epics of 6 hours. Where most videogames you could get a good feel for a game in 3 hours but most sports games and long role playing games could be played for more then 70 hours.

This is where Goozex steps in. Goozex allows the gamer to keep the game as long as you want but have the option to sell it too. There is only a $1 transaction fee if you request a game on their network. So basically you can trade in your older games and build up Goozex credit until you get enough for a newer title and just pay the $1 transaction fee. A shipping and handling is handled by sender and the buyer only pays . No membership fees so no need to feel you need to use the system. This is ideal in the sense that you could play the game until you are actually sick of it then send it in for credit. So you’re not rushed to get as many games played on the network because you can play at your own pace. Plus you OWN the game. From then on the game is yours, not a rental.

You only send games directly to the next member. There is no single central warehouse and the pricing of the credits of the system are in points (100pts = $5). The pricing of the game is determined by market demand, release date, initial cost of the game, and a couple other factors. Most xbox 360 titles will go for 800-1000 pts which translates to $40-$50. This isn’t bad for a used game. Some money can be saved buying used but there is still tax and travel time/cost. Goozex gives you free shipping to you with no tax charge. You also have an option to buy credits if you want but I wouldn’t recommend that unless you have no games to send in or nothing of yours is being requested. Price fluctuations occur and you can see the points swings. I’ve had a couple games I requested and I can see that price increase/decrease. It doesn’t happen that much but some games change +/- 200pts depending on market demand.

So why use Goozex instead of a used videogame store or an auction site with games like Ebay? You just need $1 to pay for the transaction fee. Most people don’t like to continually shell out more money for a game and then feel like the games they bought are depreciating at a very fast rate. Selling your game for cash anywhere will not give you that much. Brick and mortar stores resell your games for a huge mark up. Selling it online at an auction site will incur fees and you still have to pay for shipping. You can get great value from Goozex and just trade in games you don’t want with a demand. Older games like madden 2000 will be harder to move due to demand. Older games on ebay are a hassle to sell. On Goozex you will be able to list it and it will just stay there without having to pay insertion fees.

Each videogame is packed with information like reviews from Gamepro, some tips/trick, game description, and some even have instructions. I love being able to see the supply and demand of each game. This will let you know if you have a game people want or if you can possibly get a game on the network. Goozex determines who gets the game by matching up users. There is a waiting list that is generated and when you add a game you will see in what place you are waiting for that game. This is a fabulous idea as impatient gamers can tell if they should expect a game soon. There is also a distinction between games you want now and games you have for holding. They will show you your place in line per game. Great place to build your wishlist. It is ideal to have a very large set of games you want now so you will have a very good chance of getting a game soon. I requested Crackdown and I was like 60 people back. I got this game in 14 days. Just because you’re really deep in line doesn’t mean you won’t get the game soon. Newer games do get pushed out in the system fairly quickly. You have many options to what you want to trade in terms of instructions, case or just game. Some people tend to not keep cases or instructions. The value of the game doesn’t go down as the credits don’t reflect what is included. This is because the user requesting the game can have the option to request only full packaged games, games with instructions, or just the game itself. I have not had a problem with getting full packages as I’ve gotten over 49 games and I’ve sent out 54 in under 2 years of being there.

Why NOT to use

For this site to be a perfect 5 star site I would like to see:

1. More users (will there ever be enough?)
2. More old school games (nes, snes, saturn….)
3. Sure isn’t free but man it’s 4 quarters. I’m a member of another site that has no transaction fees yet still protects the members.
4. Sneak peak video game trailers
5. More user interaction like user reviews and tournaments…)

All the above are small tweaks to the system that is already very functional. The main reason someone would NOT want to use this system is time and money. If you have money why wouldn’t you just buy the game new down the street? Why wait? The main draw to the site is how much money you can save and the community there. Save money and also connect with other gamers. If your very impatient then new release games will have to be purchased. Most new release games takes on average of 1-2 months. Why? You are placed on a Que. The order of the Que determines when you get the new game, but more importantly is how many are available? Most people will play a new release for a certain amount of time before listing their games. That could be more time than one might want to wait. Say you want to play a game that takes a long time to beat. You gotta factor in that a player like me would take over 1 month to beat a game like that. Seasonal games with many updates like Madden will hit the system quick but it’s also a bad thing. You don’t want to hold a game too long or it will lose it’s value. Trading for early on might be for 1000 points but in a couple months with the market being saturated it could be 500 points in no time losing half of it’s value. Not Goozex’s fault but some games just don’t move well.

Current Goozex Simultaneous Transaction on the Network as of Mar 11, 2009 = 4793

What To Look For In Safe Children’s Toys?

A great number of parents worry a lot about how the safe the toys they give their children are. And they have good reason to be concerned and a large number of toys on the market still are not built in a safe way, although thankfully more and more are these days due to tighter manufacturing regulations. However, parents still need to be careful and below we highlight some of the important things to look out for to ensure toys are safe.

Sharp edges. It is imperative that toys do not have sharp edges, even if they are made from seemingly soft materials. It is quite common for children to roll around with their toys or run with them, making it very easy to be caught by a sharp edge and even cut themselves badly.

Small parts. This is probably the most well known hazard of children’s toys. As children invariably love to put things in their mouth, they can very easily swallow small parts and choke on them. Some toys might appear to have no small parts but because they are made from poor quality materials, parts easily break off and pose an equal risk.

Chemicals. Whether it is dangerous chemicals in plastics, harmful fluids in toys, or simply toxins in the paint that they are decorated with, kids can be seriously harmed by inconsiderate materials. Thankfully most toys are tested thouroughly for dangerous chemicals, but some will always slip though the net.

Mechanical Hazards. Many toys appear perfectly safe, but are made potentially dangerous by their ill-though out functioning parts. Toys that work using elastic or springs can sometimes harm kids eyes if they are poor quality and break for example. Another example is toys that have hinges where kids can trap their fingers or toes.

All toys and Christmas gifts should comply with the health and safety regulations of their respective countries, so next time you’re buying gifts for her or him look out for the endorsement logos on the toy’s label first.

Making Toys On The Cheap

Is it just me or are toys not made the way they used to be. It didn’t seem that long ago that you could keep the same toy from the age of five until you were fifteen. You could drop your wooden toy car from the top of a multi-story car park and the most damage it would receive would be a few minor scratches to the paint work. Do the same with a toy made these days and it almost turns into dust. You’ll need to set aside a good couple of days to pick up all the shattered parts.

Some people might suggest that today’s toys are more advanced and have more technical pieces to go wrong. This is a pretty lousy argument however as there are some toys that are just as simple these days, and yet they still fall apart. Also, think back to when got old train sets as toys, and the intricacies involved with the small parts and mechanics. Trains like these used to be heavy, but they sure were strong. You used to be able to run the track off the edge of your kitchen table and the train would keep on going once it hit the floor.

So why are these toys being made to a low standard? Unsurprisingly the problem stems from money, or more accurately, profit. There are still some toy makers and distributors that provide good quality products, but they are sadly in the minority these days and most companies are more concerned with getting high volume of products, for low cost and built from rubbish materials.

The solution? If you’re buying for a girl, hunt around for the best gifts for women on trusted websites, where you know you’ll get quality. When buying gifts for men you’re more advised to actually go to a shop to take a look at the build quality. Boys like to test their toys to breaking point, so finding a toy that can take a pounding is imperative
